Or Pierce or Buchanan. Of course not. It's emotion.

Read the article, the OP took pretty extensive liberties with their thread title.

Biden has the lowest approval rating of any presidents since they started with them, goes back about 70 years.

Yes, Worst ever.
That border was open for years. The problems started when people other than Mexicans started coming in huge numbers.

The Congress has decided to let it happen, again.

I’ll think people are serious about that open border when the country starts rounding up illegals who have been here 25 years. Until then, it’s just another wedge issue to keep the party faithful in line.

It's too soon to rank Biden's place among American Presidents: we're too close to have a proper perspective or even a feigned impartiality. But frankly I'd be surprised if he were placed in the bottom half a century from now.

People from all over the world had been coming here illegally. The reasons for the insanely huge number is that Biden* had told them to come. And he'd told them he wouldn't do anything to stop them, which he proved true when he'd gone after the states to make them to stop making it hard for illegals to come here, and when he'd had BP ushering them in, etc.

This current fiasco lands squarely on Biden* and the Democrats.

Certainly the weakest since Carter, if not even weaker.

Trump had the border relatively under control. The 'remain in mexico' policy, which meant asylum applicants were supposed to wait in Mexico, was fantastic. Biden canceled it on day 1.

Not quite. Biden has the worst rating at this point in his presidency in 70 years. Several Presidents have had worse approval ratings at some point in their terms, including Nixon, Bush I and Bush II.

Exactly right; Reagan's approval rating dropped to 35% in 1983 in part thanks to the "Reagan Recession."
