This Black thinks Tim Scott is just fine, BUT not nearly as pretty to look at as Kristi Noem. Image, especially today, is damn near everything. Plus, Scott would be second black President.

I say Kristi Noem or Marsha Blackburn (too bad she’s not in the list)

I like what Scott had to say when he first made remarks about being on the short list. He can support Trump, not upstage him, and I also liked what he said about people WANTING the 'disruptor' because, whatever you think of his personality, he got things done. And Scott can support all those things Trump can and will do.

I believe this too. And they will want someone who is sort of a counter-point to Trump.

Byron Daniels would be an excellent choice, except he is also from Florida.

It's still a bit early to actually decide but we can think about it.

I'm sure Trump will pick the best person for the job and not be Racist and Sexist like Biden was when he only considered a Black Female.

If you want to be the president taking VP is worth it. If the president dies you instantly become it. It scores you points in your party. If you fail, then it becomes captain obvious you’d be a terrible president (Biden is living proof of this).

Marsha would be great, but she is already too old, IMO. She will be 72 this June. It would be MUCH better to find a VP who is not over 55 or 60 at the oldest.

It's a wonderful pre-retirement job. Travel, shake hands, work on some pet project if you choose to do so, or sit back and enjoy your one official responsibility of breaking ties in the Senate.

For awhile it was looked at as a dead end job, basically somewhere to stuff a party loyal who had served well but was told that it's time to ride into the sunset.

On the other hand, the NY Republican party tried to get rid of Teddy Roosevelt by having him selected VP. That backfired pretty well.
