No doubt some people strongly feel that a show of guns and more guns is an answer to our nation's problem with mass shootings and how to respond to past violent events.

Organizers said up to 1,000 legally armed citizens will descend on Greenwood to pay homage to the armed Tulsans who died defending the neighborhood during the Tulsa race massacre in 1921.
They said the march is about unifying the Black community, not about sparking fear or intimidation, but they are willing to act in self-defense if they need to. “Never again. This is the purpose of the guns," said Nick Bezzel with the Elmer Geronimo Pratt Gun Club. "Never again will you come into a neighborhood, a Black community, and massacre people the way you did Greenwood, even the red summer in Chicago.”
"They said the march is about unifying the Black community, not about sparking fear or intimidation"
Prediction: On May 30, the day after the march, there will be a CNN reporter standing among the still-smoking rubble of buildings and cars, and walking among the detritus left behind by EMS personnel from treating the wounded, proclaiming it "was a mostly peaceful" march.
NFAC gatherings have shown group leaders demonstrating very low familiarity with firearms (to the point of ignorance), and there have been negligent firearm discharges with injuries. So shots were fired, powered by "derp!".
Seems like there is some posturing LARP nonsense going on with that group.
In light of the negligent discharges, one of the NFAC leaders recorded a video attempting to show why the negligent discharges happened, and simply ended up displaying his own extreme ignorance with his own firearms. Double derp, derpity derp!
That said, I support peaceful non leftist Americans of all races to support their 2nd amendment rights. I also endorse people that have weapons actually know something about them (unlike some NFAC "leaders")
If the bolt stops before fully seating and I use the forward assist to seat the bolt, does that also cause the weapon to fire?
Based on the instructional video, it seems a likely scenario since the firing pin doesn't actually serve any real purpose.
I honestly don't know. One could interpret the 2nd Amendment to mean only members of a well regulated militia have the right to bear arms. Some interpret "militia" to mean pretty much anyone, so the well-regulated part would apply to everyone. I'm very pro-gun (own several) and a lifetime NRA member, but I honestly can see how people interpret the 2nd Amendment in so many widely different ways. Everything from prohibiting private citizens from owning firearms to letting anyone who wants one to get one with no vetting or registration. The wording of the 2A is so vague, almost any position can be defended. I prefer to defend firearm ownership from a common sense standpoint: guns are only as dangerous as the person pulling the trigger, tens of millions of people love sport shooting/hunting, there are hundreds of millions of guns in this country and only a tiny percentage have been used to commit a crime, and guns level the playing field in terms of self defense. To me, these are far more compelling arguments than citing the 2nd Amendment. The irrationally hysterical anti-gun crowd aren't going to change their minds no matter what. They'd rather close their eyes, put their hands over their ears, and yell "nah nah nah, I can't hear you" then have a rational discussion about guns.
The words are very simple.
"the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
Whatever rights the militia has to keep and bear arms is not addressed by this document.
False the (white elevator operator) refused to file charges against the 19 year old shoe shine man , who was never charged with the crime of rape or sexual assault.
The African American Shoe Shine man went Scott free and did not do any jail or prison time , after the racial genocide massacre.... Of 19 21.
White person's from the south side of Tulsa stole property and destroyed the remaining properties of the Black Wall Street section of North Tulsa and the African American citizens was not given reparations......
they always hide behind a white woman as the reason for violence against Black people back then
