Singing Song Sparrow

They're still doing some heavy work on it, but it is an excellent site so far. The easy webpage to remember is All About Birds : Home which will take you right to the Cornell page. They're still kinda confused on where they're going with it fully, but still an excellent sight.

Funny thing about this post. I've never noticed any song sparrows here and this morning, there one was.

It is indeed a great site; I’ve been using the site for some time and it is getting better all the time. I find it useful for those birds that just don’t seem to look like anything in my field guides, usually I can find a picture on the site that helps in those tricky ID situatuions.

There are a few black cherry trees beside one of my greenhouses. They sit in those trees first thing in the morning. When they move on the purple finches move in and start singing. It beats radio!
