The Boathouse pic is astronomically stupendous! Hard to find a background like that.

I have not delved much in black and white photography. My mom was always taking pictures with her kodak brownie. Here is a picture of my brother Robert and myself in 1964 and one of my dad with my sister Sandra and brothers Russ and Manuel in 1959. My brother has a few shoe box's of old pictures that my mom took. I want to scan them all and create a family album.

I went into my I-photo program and converted some of my old looking pictures to black and white. Here is and old farm house in the Arcata bottoms and an old dutch barn that was also in the bottoms. The owner of the dutch barn burned it down last year during a rainstorm. It was over 300 feet long and made of solid old heart redwood. I miss that barn.

I love b/w too! Great photos everyone!

Here are a few of my favorites.

Inside an old train in Cookeville, TN

Kingsport, TN

This one is a couple of years old, but it's my son (a preemie) holding my mom's finger.

I get most of my B&W films from bhphoto.com

Locally, not one store in my area carries anything but that god-awful black and white that is processed in C41 color chemistry! I hate that stuff!
