This weird-looking stuffed head sits on my desk as a reminder of the kind of goofy drawings my deceased husband used to draw next to his name inside any greeting cards he gave to me or the kids. Just this morning it occurred to me that it would make a perfect candidate for the "eyes thread.

The daughter of a friend came over recently to visit, bringing her "build-a-bear" box with toys in it to play with. Our cat promptly co-opted the box as his own, and seemed to particularly appreciate having windows to look out from. Sorry if it's tiny, I've never figured out how everyone else gets nice big photos in their posts.
