Where I work is about the ugliest part of the state. (see photos above). Very flat and wetlands. South of the Brooks Range is really all mountains. You get along the southern coast and it's really pretty. Yeah you should see it just once.

Here are some sunsets that I took from McKinleyville and Arcata California; they are Fiery sunset, blue sunset, gold sunset, pink sunset and sunset over barn. All but the fiery sunset were taken from the Mad River park in Arcata, tahe fiery sunset was shot from across the street from my house. All were shot with a Sony cybershot F828 8 mega pixel.

I have loads of sunsets in my album but only these four sunrises. My favorite is the blue macarel sky at sunrise

When I am not too tired from work I like to take a walk to the beach for sunset and moonrise shots, this one night I got lucky and got a good sunset and a moonrise with a jet flying overhead.
