This toad was a peeper and a pee'er. I picked him and he peed. Then he kept peeping (or chirping, whatever you call it) the whole time I had him. He didn't play dead like a couple of the smaller toads I've caught.
This thread is not done yet I still need to share this picture I took today of my conure. She was thirsty so I cut the photo session short. See her panting ?
What a wonderful collection of photos; I love them all.
Here's our late Mott The Hoople when he was a baby being 'supervised' by our late male budgie, Spike:
Mott The Hoople with our late disabled cedar waxwing, Miss Kikkit. Oh, how she loved Mott!
Our late female kakariki, Sneak, with our late male talking budgie, Newman:
"Don't bug me, Newman..."
A second later:
"I warned you!"
We have five budgies at the moment, three males (including two talkers) and two females. Their names are Ivan, Doc Holliday, Spiro, Spanky and Wyetta.
Once I figure out how to use my digital camera I'll post their pics. I took the photos I posted using one of those disposable cameras.
