Sunday - appreciate the post. Good reminder to all of us that it is important we stay in touch with someone while traveling-- check in! -- as things can happen and family wouldn't even know where to start looking if we really did have an accident or run into foul play.

I also looked at his facebook page and he has activity even yesterday accepting friend requests - 18 of them. I can't see anything other than that. Hopefully he contacts the people who are looking for him soon.

Latest posting from the mom's page is that she received a call from NY police and that he is in jail up there. Guess he didn't use his one phone call to phone home.

I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to any of you. I took your advice and called multiple news broadcasts, but got no response to any of them. Fortunately, we found him nonetheless, through the detective on the missing persons case. He had been sent to jail in New York i guess. I'm sorry for all the confusion and worry, there was plenty over here too. Thanks for anyone who actually did care as well, good to know there are people out there with hearts still
