Help with a missing person (phone, neighbor, street, friend)

I desperately need to get a message to Ernest Shorey. (He has also gone by the nickname Doc in the past) I understand his last known address was in White City, OR and in Crater Lake, OR before that. His brother Bill is dying of liver cancer. Has only weeks left at the most. I need Ernie to know this. The family has had no contact from Ernie for over 10 years, and people who know him in Oregon may not know he has any family. I respect his right to privacy. but Bill really needs to know if Ernie is okay and that Ernie knows he is dying. If you know an Ernest Shorey, please contact me. Thank you.

I would like to place a personal ad in a local newspaper but don't know what paper to use to reach people in White City.

I would say either the Mail Tribune out of Medford or The Daily Courier out of Grants Pass. (White City is closer to Medford but on the local Medford News Channel I hear "from The Daily Courier Newspaper...." mentioned often.)

I contacted the mail tribune and they will not run the ad I need to run it due to some policy about use of proper names.

Are there any weekly Shoppers or Penny Savers, that type of paper in the White City / Medford area?

I'm not really looking for a person. I know where he is. He is in White City, OR. I am trying to get an urgent message to him. He has no phone listiing, no email listing and his address is a PO Box. I need to let him know his brother is dying of liver cancer.
I wanted to address a personal ad to him, but the Mail Tribune won't let me put his full name in an ad. Unless I do that, no one else seeing it will know the message is for him. I don't think he reads the paper regularly but was hoping a friend, neighbor or co-worker might see such an ad and tell him.
