Like specs and look of Rivian EV truck and SUV, though estimated retail cost is prohibitive for most people. In future there will be many exciting alternatives to fossil fuel vehicles. Hope to see plenty of EV offerings under $30K in upcoming years - with over 200 mile range capacity for the most affordable models. Amazon announced large fleet of Rivian delivery vans will replace their older fossil fueled vans. EV's are quiet. EV's have good acceleration. EV prices have to come down and charging station build-out must make sense before we get anything resembling a sizable displacement of fossil fuel vehicle ownership. Thinking fossil fuel vehicles will be around a good while to come. Saudi Arabia diversifying their wealth to hedge against falling fossil fuel demand. They see the writing on the wall.

Agree. EV needs its own category in automotive section.
EV passenger cars, vans, pickup trucks will make inroads, shifting fossil fuel tractor trailers to non-fossil fuel tractor trailers certainly not in my time remaining. Tesla had operational versions in media limelight while back, but not much followup.
EV truck with grunt to haul RV trailer would be many a retirees dream. Ability to park the RV trailer at campground and drive the EV truck local sightseeing and chores a most desirable combination.

I'm thinking when the video "Long Way Up" Premieres, the Rivian brand is going to get A LOT more exposure. The same can't be said for Harley Davidson...

They also have another video of the factory they have in Normal, Illinois. I know that they've recently decided on moving some of its employees to southern California from Plymouth, Michigan. I wish they'd move things to Chicago instead of Southern California.
