I work pretty close to McCormicks and its usually pretty crowded on Thursday nights, but you gotta get there early, like 5:30 and its pretty much done by 7:00. They do have a great happy hour deal though....best cheeseburger you can find for $1.95. Houston's seems to be crowded most nights although I don't get over there too often.

I've also found that Bandera's and Quiet Woman in Corona Del Mar can be fun too with both places attacting somewhat older crowds (at least not over run by a bunch of college kids). Thurday nights at both are usually pretty good (at least the last time I was there which, admittedly, was a while ago).

I check out a few places at 9PM last night:

McCormicks - Dead, maybe 3 people there
Houstons - 3 couples that looked to be in there 40s
Kisch Bar - Dead
Woodys Warf - 1/2 full, nice looking women.
Sharkees - Absolutely Packed but the women were all low class.

BTW- I am shopping in the age range of 20-30..

Professional women? That's kinda funny when talking about OC. Most here are taught to go for the money and nothing else..........they all try to attain that "OC lifestyle" like what television portrays off the backs of hard working men. The young one are mostly "attitude" and the old ones are too busy with "botox" that u can't tell if they are smiling or frowning. lmao. Orange County....... let me see........ traffic, fake people, gold diggers, outrageously priced homes(still) and oh yeah CA unemployment in Jan. 09 was just over 10%! Great climate thou. Best in the US in my opinion. I've lived here for 4 years and can't stand it. I had the same thought as yourself coming here as a young professional myself but I'm gonna pack it up and find a better state to settle down. Oh yeah, we have state income tax but this year we won't get the refund until we get out of our 43billion dollar debt!

Oh geeze I love the stereotypes.

The only people into the "OC Lifestyle" are the ones that are not from here.

dino if you have lived here for 4 years and can't stand it please leave. plllleeaaasssse.

And Tom, if you want classy women you need to be a classy guy, and you just don't sound like one. Sorry!
