Hello everyone.
I am new here, and was wondering if anyone here on these forums is familiar with the disappearance of Jason Jolkowski from Omaha in 2001.
He vanished somewhere in between his home on 48th street and Benson High School.

I am also wondering about the area... does anyone live near there? Can someone tell me what the area is like? Any thoughts on the possibility of him being mugged or whatever in that area?
I am very unfamiliar with Omaha, but have wondered for years what happened to Jason, and thought someone from the area might be able to chime in.

Thank you for any thoughts on the matter, and all the best to you

The neighborhood isnt that awful but things can happen anywhere. I had some friends living on swiggert street 9-10 years previous to his disappearance. There were pentagrams painted all over the place and strange things happened there, including missing time.

this house was for sale on realty . co^^... its stated to have 666 sq.ft. .. The whole back yard is old red brick without morter. I never knew much about the case of J.J. but just the idea that he may have walked by this place gave me the creeps yesterday when I found out. Dont know if it will help any but I will probably call the tip line.. and tell them what? you ask. I dont exactly know yet.

I used to work with a guy, his girlfriend house was in south Omaha, not sure of the street # exactly, but it was just east of I-480 and north of Martha. There was a pentagram on the back porch, as well on some of the older trees. They thought the home was haunted. In the few times I was there, it did have an ambiance about it that was just not right.... drafty, cold spots in the summer... and it was an old home with no central a/c.

I would have called a bishop and burned the house. Seriously, I don't know how people can mess with that stuff.

saltine:

if that true, they should tear the house down and consecrate the ground.

(joking for a moment: considering how close that house is the Omaha Benson High, could we say the house is to blame for Omaha Benson High always being terrible at football.

rhett:

considering how many haunted places there is alleged to be in Omaha, that story wouldnt surprise me

Central High and Omaha South and Mystery Manor and the White House apts. are all have proported to have supernatural happenings go on there

My girl friend lived right on 28th street next to I480 and North of Martha and she was very spooky. Must just be the area!

BTW Benson High is a long way from this location.
