ROFL.. Quite true!!!

I live in Longtown myself, and we did the same thing. Moved from another state, visited and thought "oh what a quaint little lake community". Been stuck out here since 1994. The Lake is gorgeous, fishing is wonderful, economy is horrid, if you are retiring to this area you might be alright, but don't try to forge a living out here. Piney Creek is rough. Piney Creek seems to have become the place people can go to live "off the grid". Most the lots there are unable to get water, and you have to use the bath houses as a previous poster said.

I haven't been to Lake Eufala since 1990 , but seriously no one ever thought for a minute that it
compared to " Grand Lake of the Cherokee " or " TenKiller Lake " but I sure would like to see some
current photos of Eufala Lake

Eufala was a nice laid back even some what pretty lake in the 1980's and 1990's

If you have access to a computer with the Google Earth program on it, or just try a Google search for the following coordinates on the Internet, it will put you on the Piney Creek properties. You will be able to see how the property lays next to the lake.

I also have a place in Piney Creek that my family built in the early 90s. It went abandoned through most of the 90s into the mid 2000s. I inherited it and have been working on it since 07. I believe the case of abandonment that my cabin went through to be the cause for the negative image people have of piney creek. Lots of places that need a little love. The problem of the tweekers running about has gotten a ton better. That's what the guy who said he wouldn't go into detail was speaking of. I bet he doesn't have a single lot in here though. Good luck in your search.

My husband and I own a lot in Piney Creek that we would like to sell. It was never developed, so you would have some clearing to do. We moved to Virginia before we could even use the campsite. If you are interested, please call 571-207-0123 and leave an voicemail. We will call you back ASAP!
