Haven't been on for awhile. The Alaska forum makes me homesick, and here I'm busybusybusy. Long story. Though from what my son says, AK has changed so much that a year after I left, he told me not to even think of going back for a visit. I guess it's different when you're part of the change, or at least see it as it's happening. Kind of like St Louis, when we went there in 2000. None of what I remembered even exists anymore, except for the zoo.

Kari, where was it you moved to again? My husband and I were down in Ohio late last year up until earlier this year for family obligations. We rented our house in Wasilla out for the months we were gone. Yes I am seeing a change up here. I don't get into Anchorage much. More and more people are moving up here thinking our economy is better. Not really true..it caught up with Alaska also. Seems more and more crime and gangs going on in Anchorage.

Yes things change for sure. When I visit my hometown of Cleveland I can't even recognize parts of it anymore.

No, I ran the spyware and the virus scans to no avail. I finally had to do a system restore last night, then shut it off.

This morning, I had a virus hidden in the "system restore" area. So far it has ran great today. We need synopsis back!

I bought this old Dell 2400 back in 02. It was 3 years old then, so it is now 10 years old. I added 1.2 GB of RAM and it has run like a top. I hate to think I have to get a new computer!

Computers are maddening things. I'm not sure how I became addicted to one cause they are so frustrating sometimes.

Redbird, you could post and ask questions here~

https://www.city-data.com/forum/computers/

I agree. I miss Synopsis, too and hope he's doing well.

If you're not comfy posting on that forum and you need some help, I can get you in touch with LadyRobyn. She has a computer expert in the house. Let me know.

Or I could just walk up to her place and tell her.
