Recently saw an advertisement for a small gates place on potato mountains with six figure acreage lot prices, which they seem to have sold a good number. Advertised in DFW as a mountain get away 3 hours from Dallas. Wondering if it’s shown up in Oklahoma news or ads too?

Sounds like this entity has strong Texas ties as at least one of the development partners is from plano. Apparently a Hugo bank is one of two Oklahoma banks financing 100% of the lot price. HMMMM I thought thst was an S&L game ended in the last crash a decade plus ago. Smells strange to me anyone know any one buying a lot or building there?

Have a friend involved in some of the construction work going on there. Several nice cabins/homes being built. Lot sales are being advertised in several area newspapers. The area is on the northern expansion edge of the growth boom going on around Broken Bow lake. Texas money is taking advantage of the recreational opportunities around the area (Sardis Lake and National Forest lands) and the mountains are attractive alternative to more prairie like geography, and crowded cityscape of the Dallas Ft Worth area. The company does have a pretty nice website with a gallery. Easy to google.

I agree it looks very upscale for the Sardis area and is more like Broken Bow. I think it’s a workable deal for DFW residents time wise. That area has a lot of potential in my view so can’t wait to see success for this current development so other phases or developments will follow.
