I think, Application to Vacate might be a legal term to clear old expired leases prior to a company drilling on your lease.

The thread didn't come up the first time I read your post. Peggy is right, they have applied to have an "Order" vacated; as she said, probably a nearby well found something unexpected.
As far as offering $1000/ac: this is to purchase your mineral interest outright, not lease as you normally hear. Purchase price normally will be 3 to 4X the usual lease bonus.

I recently found out I have shared ownership of mineral rights in Pawnee County. I found the following hyperlink describing some of the properties can anyone tell me the value of the mineral rights?
