I've lived in San Antonio for the last 4 years and have recently been working every other week in OKC for the last 2 months, so my experience of OKC is very limited. So far, I feel that San Antonio is much more scenic then OKC. It is more green and hilly. You get these great views in North San Antonio. There is also much more commercial growth in San Antonio. Many more restaurants and shops.

I think OKC may have more affordable housing than San Antonio, but San Antonio is by no means high. Much lower than Houston, Dallas, and Austin. I do agree with some other posters that OKC and San Antonio feel similar.

I went through OKC this past year and it is so much nicer than how it is portrayed on this site.

Downtown feels very clean, safe, and updated. The city has helped fix up numerous little neighborhood business and restaurant districts around downtown and in the historic neighborhoods.

Nichols Hills is a luxurious neighborhood just a few minutes north of downtown where every blade of grass is in place. The Edmond area is a large area of rolling hills and trees that is immaculate and safe. Even from the interstate it looks clean and organized. Then there is Norman on the south side of the city with the University of Oklahoma.

I really dug the vibe of being in the state of Oklahoma's proud capital and found the area to be comfortable and prosperous.

I wonder how OKC residents would compare their city to San Antonio? Which city has more to offer, etc? OKC 1.3 million people SA 2.3 million.

Both cities are growing a lot and have a lot to offer.

Criteria

Job Growth
transportation
arts
skyline
entertainment
sports
education
economy
neighborhoods
weather
cost of living
Pound to pound OKC Knocks San Antonio TX out !!!
Imagine a 2.3 Metro OKC......
