Vance and Brown visited East Palestine together.

I read the article, didn't mention them visiting together. Not saying you're wrong, just saying it didn't mention it.

I like to think she wouldn't stand a chance here, but I'm not sure. Might depend on the district, which, as a lifelong Ohioan, it deeply saddens me to say that.

I would have agreed with this pre-Dobbs, but considering some of the very harsh laws being limiting abortion access I wouldn't shame women for leaving a state where abortion access is now forbidden. Or even some threats of turning back same-sex marriage. (I saw this as someone who was raised Catholic and still goes to church once in a while, and got into the whole reaction to "woke language policing a few years back). I ASLO wouldn't shame anyone in 2020 for moving for opposite restrictions from COVID measures. (I'm glad to see Ohioans vote as they did).

The difference is that Democratic states and governors lifted all the restrictions and allowed their states to go back to normal after COVID cases dropped and vaccine rates went up (Trust me I DID dabble on the opposite of the spectrum in 2020, but that was then, this is now).

I'm not getting into a political debate with anyone, just merely pointing out that if freedoms for someone are actually restricted, this might be an understandable reason why someone might want to move.
