Actually, you read that right, it's not actually the largest mall, but the square footage of the mall property is the largest in the US. Bigger than even the Mall of Amercia.

Your photos are great! I haven't been to Youngstown in a while and it was nice going down memory lane.

Wow, I would have never thought about it like that! But the entire complex is huge. Even more claim to fame for the Mahoning Valley!

Thanks! My next picture goal is to somehow stop along 680 between the Market St and Mahoning Ave exits to get the perfect picture of downtown. Also, coming down the new 711 connector from Girard/Liberty gives you a great shot of downtown.

Yes. It was opened in 2005 (I believe) after it's initial plans were unveiled back in the 50s or 60s. It connects the Route 11 South and I-80 West interchange to I-680 in Youngstown. It makes the drive from Boardman/Poland to Niles/Warren a lot quicker and more simple.

Here's a picture I found on my hard drive of the Mill. It was one of my favorite places in Youngstown...

Here are some photos I found of Mill Creek on the internet. The second largest urban park in the country after NYC's Central Park.
