Starting to get a little more busy in that corridor. Knocking down trees, creating right of way across from DQ. My commute to NJ is getting more precarious as time goes on. Oh well. Progress!

*Sigh* Progress. Trees cut down by the dozens. One lone tree has been left standing at this point, for some reason.

On the DQ side when they built all that back in the late 90's they excavated the entire hillside to flatten it out. Progress.

St. Lukes is building all over the region. I believe that Dunkin Donuts will be moved into retail space as well.

Looks like some steel is rising above the ground for that St. Lukes facility. They have all the money so they have first dibs.

Just saw that yesterday. It's really happening. Funny that this thread was started 5 years ago!

Yes, this thread has been going on a long time like this project. The facade is starting to go up on the St. Lukes project. It's coming along nicely. I noticed they are cutting trees down on the Dunkin Donuts side leading to the project. I am guessing they are prepping for the lane widening. Oh boy! This is going to be a mess.

Yeah, I'm glad I don't drive my kids over to Notre Dame every day anymore! My wife works in Eastburg but there are plenty of back ways she can take to avoid congestion.

Looks like that St. Lukes building is almost finished. I believe it was mentioned somewhere that it's opening in February. Not sure if that is true. In any event, they finished it pretty quick. Less than a year.

One thing about SLHN, their construction contractors work fast. The new Carbon Campus hospital ER was up and running in about the same time frame, with working continuing in other areas of the building. It was fully open a few months after that.

I have to say I've only hit construction-related traffic a couple of times over there. And my wife still drives to Eastburg just about every day and she hasn't had to alter her route. So, they've done a good job with traffic management so far!
