More anti law politicians running NYC

The Strategic Response Group is the unit that primarily handles the pro Palestinian protests so of course they want to get rid of the unit

So is what the Councilperson saying is without merit?

"All New Yorkers, including my constituents in District 39, have the right to protest without fearing their First Amendment rights will be trampled by a violent, unaccountable police unit."

These protests have been handled with kid gloves. In fact I think the police have actually protected the protestors from the angry general public. I am amazed no one has killed one of these protestors yet when they try to block highways.

This is line the other one who said let’s force chick fil a open on Sundays on state property. But I’m going to say it’s so New Yorkers can eat chicken on Sunday not because I hate them.

As long as what they are doing falls firmly under the category of "speech" (chanting, singing, holding up signs, etc.) yes. Once the protestors cross the line into action the law should allow the police and the courts to come down on them like the hammer of Thor.

The NYPD has become a tool of the black supremacists in power. Violent and unaccountable?

Crime in NYC is skyrocketing. Solution? Reduce the police force. Now the cops unit is the target.

Hmm, I’m no fortune teller, but I think things will get worse. It’s just a hunch.

Lol. Law enforcement nationwide has been neutered.
They even admit it.

Deliberate policy. No one is that dumb. The question is what is the goal?

The cops should disband it themselves by refusing to volunteer for these units. They’re absolutely insane doing anything beyond the bare minimum in NYC.
