When alcohol is federally legal and way more of a health detriment
Why not put the same energy into denouncing alcohol

I think alcohol lobby is a strong one and isn’t going anywhere.

But lets keep pushing weed as a 100% safe drug with no side effects. I guess I am the only one realizing the rise in crazies with the public acceptance of weed smoking

Have you ever heard of anyone celebrating alcoholics?
All I ever hear about weed is how great it is. Weed was decriminalized in many left leaning states/ cities because black people had a problem with weed. Specifically when it came to getting jobs. It was one of the early DEI initiatives.
And what does that have to do with my post that you quoted
That weed will never be normalized like alcohol is. Booze had a head start.
But I agree, alcohol is pure poison.
