If the guy carried a gun with him, then most likely life isn't good for him. He rather go dead than sit in prison. Since he knows what prison life is.

Right. Because people like Pass are going to follow the law on that front

Moving along, sad to see that a man and his son lost their lives over foolishness. That said, I have an observation to make:

1) The mother should have kept her trap shut. This isn't the first time that women have engaged in confrontations with men knowing full well that their husbands/boyfriends/etc. are going to come out to defend their "honor," which could very well lead to significant escalation.

2) Men need to stop jumping to defend their women's "honor" in situations like these where their women want to engage in such confrontations.

I like visiting NYC, but I like staying in NNJ or CT and taking public transportation in. In the times I've driven into the city instead of taking public transportation, one of those times I parked downtown, another time midtown, and all of the other times were either to Yankee Stadium or to Shea/(after the teardown/building of the new) Citi.

Amazing how much an area can change over generations.

Hard to believe Barbara Streisand grew up in same housing estate even went to P.S. 89.

Jason Pass isn't very bright apparently. He was driving around Bath Beach area when NYPD got a read on his ride's license plate and pulled him over. Things went rapidly down hill from there and it's safe to say it wasn't going to go well for either Pass or perhaps NYPD.

Obviously Pass didn't read memo about not hanging around area after committing a crime. While Bath Beach isn't East Flatbush it's close enough. Guy should have put a whole lot of gone between himself and Brooklyn in general if wanted to remotely stand a chance. Then again with all new technology including cameras and license plate readers along major roadways, bridges and tunnels that ride would have been tracked regardless.
