The main impression that I took away from the times I took SIR is that they were incredibly loud, which seemed odd, being that they are outdoors, so I thought the sound would dissipate. Maybe their age explains that.
Didn’t end up taking the train the other day, but I am now. Same old crappy cars from when I was in high school 30 years ago.
Aah, probably the "maintenance" issue regarding the spanking new trains was just a ploy to get them off the tracks while you took the subway. They will be back on the tracks in a short moment.
