I am paying $205 for a FIOS bundle. No HBO, SHO, TMC, STZ or any
other "pay channels," no cell phone (only one "land line" phone.) Only addition are internet and a second TV.
I thought of switching to Spectrum but when all was said and done, I would save nothing...same $200+.
So it was a case of sticking with the devil you know vs. the devil you don't. Before they hooked up my cable, about a month, I used a bowtie antenna (nothing fancy) suction cupped to an East window. I got 32 channels in crystalline HD. Perhaps someday that will be enough.
I too feel like I am being ripped off every month by this unregulated utility.

Spectrum tried increasing my rate to what I thought was a high figure ($70 a month) here in Hawaii and they wouldn't budge on the price, so I canceled and got T-Mobile Home WiFi, which we love. Of course, when I actually canceled Spectrum, they started sending me mailings for promotional rates of $45 a month
