Automobiles and trucks are registered and insured for good reason. They kill 40,000 Americans every year (we just accept that as normal), and cause billions in property damage.
Outside of a freak incident here or there, bikes don't kill very many people (most people killed in crashes involving bikes are the cyclist killed by an automobile or truck). The amount of damage a 25-lb bicycle can do versus a 4,000-lb SUV is miniscule.
Some cyclists behave badly (as do some motorists), but the consequences aren't nearly the same. And that's why insurance and inspections on motor vehicles are so important, because the consequences are so severe.

clearly, you have never lost a loved one due to a bike related incident but I bet you would be humming a different tune if someone you loved was affected by a bicycling tragedy.
And furthermore, these statistics are skewed because the national highway traffic safety administration does not collect statistics on bicycle related incidents
but according to the NSC a little under 400 people were killed in bicycle related incident, not involving a motor vehicle. I guess those lives were not worth protecting in your opinion?

You know nothing of the circumstance's of their deaths until it is your question can not be answered.
The fact you haven’t figured out she’s trolling you by now just makes it funnier. She said a kid’s tricycle needs to be insured lol
Sad thing is, she isn't trolling.
