I'd say the Bronx is equally bad, but yes, sure. I always joked that for the NYC driving test they should just make you drive around the Bronx for 30 minutes without hitting anything.
Yes, all are true, but the one thing growing up in Hudson County taught me was how to parallel park and what is the length of car and truck.
Today, I watch people trying to do it and I wonder how they passed their drive test. I guess thank god for the automated parking feature on new cars.
and the viejos that take their sweet time and take 3 tries (and fail all of them) to try and parallel park on those narrow North Hudson streets, with 5 cars stuck behind all honking

Tonnelle Ave and Journal Square are nightmares to drive around. But Route 22 in Union County is mayhem. With the buildings in the center median, the u-turns and on-ramps into the passing lane, I feel like I get out of there by the skin of my teeth every time I merge.

oh yeah i know what you mean.. i've been to the Retro Fitness over there by Kenilworth and that whole intersection is crazy..
why is Jersey so messed up with the infrastructure? just seems like a group of braindead monkeys put the whole system together.. even other northeast states aren't this bad
Hudson County NJ is extremely walkable for the same reasons that make it horrible to drive in. It is prime RE for gentrification. If only more banks, Media, Fashion, Tech, and the rest of industries that hire yuppies would move into Hudson County, the place will be like Hoboken everywhere.

Brooklyn too. Brooklyn has no real hwys that go through it. Only there is one that goes around it.
