I dub this robber "Thelma" even if it is a guy. I'm somewhat impressed; I didn't think anyone aside from actual banksters robbed banks for real money nowadays (usually they get a couple grand and a dye packet at best). And most criminals are too lazy to work in such cold weather.
Thats funny, i remember another bank in Glen Rock being robbed many years ago in broad daylight. It would be easy to do actually granted that its a small town.
Really? Is that the bank procedure for a robbery? Why would they not sound the silent alarm as soon as a threat presents itself? What if the guy starts shooting people and no alarm was tripped? Not saying it didn't happen that way but it certainly defies logic.
With a silent alarm the police could arrive before the robber leaves the bank and it could turn into a hostage situation. It's far safer for bank employees / customers to wait until the robber exits the bank before triggering the alarm. If they being violent, then that's a different situation where you would trip the silent alarm during the robbery.
She's gotten away with this before? Maybe she didn't drive dad's SUV to the last robbery. What an idiot.
