yea, actually my mistake, disregard that statement, for some reason i thot those were maint fees
but then how come some condos have 5k taxes and others way more? jus depends on the town?

I do know our old COOP had very low taxes but that was included in our maintenance. Our maintenance ran from about 800-1100 a month- some months had an "assessment" fee (for building improvements). That was a 1 bedroom in Fort Lee, NJ.

Here's a link to the NJ Treasury brochure on tax appeals. The deadline to appeal this year has already passed, but you can get started on the process for next year.
