Hi My name is MiMi,
I have been a tenant for 4 months. I have noticed whenever it rains my room carpet is damp. I have reported this to the rental office a few people have cane to look no action taken. Finally!! It's July 28th the worst fluid through out entire apartment into hallway. I am 5 months pregnant and a Asthmatic. Now I am sick and congested.
There is an ejector pump in the bathroom of my basement apartment. It has occasionally flooded because of the float not working correctly or getting stuck. My landlord blames me for this “misuse” is the word he used- and told me I have to call a plumber ( it flooded this morning). Is this reallly the tenants responsibility?
