LOL.. I don't know about impeccably clean.. but definitely cleaner than yours.. Ha~
I just wish I had a wide angle lens.. keeping an eye out on Ebay right now for a good Minolta AF now...
I have accumulated the rest of what I wanted.
Still hope to get shots of them as they sail up the Intracoastal on their way to Philadelphia. Assuming, of course, that they don't take the open sea route...

When we were there we asked them if they would be going up the C & D canal (that is where we are from and my parents still live there). They said only if the weather is bad .. I was really hoping my Dad would get to see them.
Damn, I couldn't imagine sailing for months on this tiny ship... and this replica is 50% larger than the original! No cabins? Sleep & eat on deck? Amazing.
Great photos guys, thanks for sharing. Unfortunately, I cannot give y'all anymore rep for now.
Baylovers-
According to the all the crew I came into contact with, the Nina is a completely built to scale replica of the original. I'm almost sure they said the same about the Pinta. It was crazy trying to imagine how the crew (forgot how many they told me were aboard) slept on deck, ate on deck, kept their ships water and some barreled provisions on deck.. all while sailing across the Atlantic to a land unknown...
Humbling to say the least. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to see them both.
Fortunately enough, and with the help of a fellow poster, I was able to capture several shots of these great ships as they progressed North up the Intracoastal Waterway this afternoon...
These are not in particular order. I thought it was pretty neat that I was able to get 'The Boat' in several of the shots with the ships in the background...
It was a real treat to see these actually in motion. I would have loved to have seen them actually under sail as opposed to under motor power...

You beat me to it! Great shots, you definitely had the right spot to shoot 'em.
I grabbed a few as they left Georgetown this morning. It's not hard to imagine a similar scene back in 1576...
PD-
Your shots are MUCH better than mine.. Well, except for the ones with 'The Boat' in the foreground..

Glad you enjoyed them... Definitely a sight to see...
