Hi Everyone,

We are looking for a vacation home, a condo or townshouse, to purchase in the Myrtle Beach area - either north or south. There are so many developments that it is all very overwhelming. We have three kids so we are looking for a family-friendly area. Any suggestions???

Thanks in advance
Sandy

Have you checked out Barefood Resort? It's at the southern edge of North Myrtle Beach...a lovely, lovely development with everything from Condos to single family homes....Lots of sidewalks, pools, golf...we love it!

I would second Barefoot Resort but if you tell us the price range we can be more specific. For example if you want to stay under $100,000, Barefoot is not the place.

Sandy-
We definitely need more input as to what things are important to you? What type of community are you looking for, one that is mainly comprised of rental units, one with a healthy mix of rentals/owner occupieds, or one with more owner occupieds? Brick built, Stick built, Concrete and steel? On the ocean, near the ocean, on a golf course, near shopping, near hospitals, near schools, near the Intra Coastal?

Soo many variables and you asked such a wide open question.. I'm sure that either Rapture or myself, along with others, would be able to give you some guidance, but help us help you..
