I must say Myrtle Beach when you do something, you do it grand.....Hummm......Perhaps where the "Grand" Strand name comes from........The 21st annual Pee Dee" Run to the Sun" Classic Car and Truck Show was fantastic. 2,285 cars and trucks and 100,000 spectators. People had to park at up to a mile from the show.....it was such a success.
OK, so our Mr Summering was kind enough to take some photos for us here at City Data.......Here is a few of my favorites. I dare not put two thousand photos in the thread.
I have attended before, but this time it was bigger and better.

There will be a small car show in Surfside Beach over Memorial Weekend. It will be on Main street ( shut down)It will be for about 200+ car demos and it will have vendors, food, and memorabilia.

Here is some Photos from the Pee Dee Show.....Thanks Mr. S *

See the Coca Cola Mother in Law seat.......Who's ridin'?

I know this one........A Woody!!

This was done from a kit.......interesting.

I think its a Mercury.......

I know its a Chevy.......55 or so.......

Miles and Miles of cars and truck.......parts and swaps......Whatever you needed was there.......
This is every March over by the Waccamaw Outlets/Hardrock area......
It is amazing to see.......Enjoy!

nice pics,I went to a show once with about 1500 cars,& it was hugh, I can imagine over 2000 cars would be a cool site to see. Hopefully I'll be down there next year to see in person.

Summering...
Thanks for posting the pictures! I saw several different vehicles traveling around town over the weekend... Looks to have been a great turnout regardless of the 'gloom and doom' being reported relative to the current economy...

I know that my friends at The Boathouse had a great weekend..
