Just wondering what the builder rates per sq/ft. are right now?

About 2 years ago they were from 80-100 dollars a ft.

I will be looking for a builder that will let me finish the interior work (fixtures, faucets, all interior painting, cabinets, flooring, etc.)

I built my entire home myself, no contractors. So.... I would like to try to deal with someone that I can DEAL with.

I know what it takes, and costs, to build a home and would do it ALL again if it was just a few miles from here. ( We live in Arkansas)

We'll rent for a while, while being framed etc. That way I can keep a sharp eye on the process. No cutting corners!

Then, I'll take over to finish the inside.

Anyone worthwhile out there that is good, honest, and will work with me????

Thank you all for any input.

Rob and Tara Dunn

Rob,
Good luck finding a builder who will dry you in and turn the job over to you... I'm sure you CAN find one.. it's just a matter of being able to do so...

Then again, the building market has slown down here, so maybe you would be able ti find someone who was willing to work with you.

I'll think of a few and get back to you via PM when I've asked around..
