New to forum and moving to SC soon (condos, how much)

Love this forum, hope I can get some good info. Looking for nice, safe neighborhoods with houses around $170,00 or less. If has HOA, must be very reasonable and be able to have fenced in back yard or dog park. Doesn’t have to be close to beach, more interested in safe neighborhood, no flood area and close to shopping, restaraunt, good church and community. I am a widow so I’d like to get involved in activities… open to Manufactured as well. Thank you everyone!!! Let the adventure begin ☀️☀️

Do you prefer the north end of the Strand or the south end? How far inland are you willing to consider?

Don't know how much research you have done, but the chances of getting a house for $170,000 or less are quite slim . Most condos are going for more than that.

As a realtor I will tell you that the inventory in that price range is slim. Anything decent will start at $250k and after multiple bids will sell for close to $20K over.
