Park Pointe is a new subdivision on Champions Blvd. across from the NMB Complex. I'll be moving to the area this summer and have that subdivision on my list of possibilities.
My concern is the amount of traffic on Champions Blvd. Does anyone have experience with the amount of traffic to/from the Complex? I'm guessing it depends on leagues, time of year, etc. and whether a traffic light will be installed at the Complex entrance (there wasn't one when I visited earlier this year). Thanks!
I did find these articles which might help you. None of them mention a stop light though. But that doesn't rule it out in the future. Also found the Horry County comprehensive plan.
I live up the street and frequent the park. The most traffic you will experience is during the light show at Christmas that's at the Sports Complex. I'm a realtor and I previewed Park Pointe last year right before the holidays and my number one question to the agent on duty was about the traffic. At that time only one house was occupied so it wasn't a big deal. This year they had 2 lanes set up, one for entry for the light show the other for Park Point residents only so there weren't many traffic concerns for the residents.
We just got back from a week at our house in Park Pointe . LAG1994 , you are absolutely right about the traffic , Christmas driven only . We would walk the dog out to Champions Blvd every night to see the influx of cars going to the light show . Amazing , a constant barrage of cars all night . Anyway , Park Pointe is awesome . All the neighbors are friendly , access to restaurants , shopping and entertainment only a few minutes away . We searched extensively and Park Pointe was the clear winner . Main Street , Mineola Ave and the Sports Park are where we go to and enjoy ourselves . It's a great place !
Thank you, LAG1994 and e66330. So nice to hear that they have the traffic for the residents and light show routed appropriately. This development ticks all our boxes. We're selecting our house plan now!
Just got back from NMB/Little River last weekend. Happy to say we selected our lot and house plan and are future Park Pointe residents! It's a hidden gem and will remain a small subdivision. Walked the walking trail next to the subdivision and toured the NMB Sports Complex across the street; my dog will love the off-leash dog park! The ocean is a mere seven-to-ten minute drive (depending on lights) and we're right by 31 to buzz to our church in MB off 501. Looking forward to our summer move and new home!

Ooh off leash dog park. You’ve piqued my interest. Are these single family homes? Can you fence the back yard?
