I am a tenant in the South Bay East (part of South Bay lakes) Condos off of Glenn Bay Rd. Wondering if anyone can tell me about the Builder, and issues they have had relating to faulty pipes, insulation problems, mold, etc. I have heard rumors about several lawsuits, but because I am not a homeowner, I don't have access to the paperwork. Our condo is covered in mold. Behind the paint, in bathrooms, under sinks, etc. The window jambs are not the same size as our window panes, and I can see where insulation has been torn out but not replaced. Wondering if homeowners knew about these issues and tried to cover up before leasing the property 2 years ago to my boyfriend. I have been trying to find any record of lawsuits brought against the contractor or even the HOA. Please help. We are afraid for our health, and will possibly have to seek legal help.

I would contact the building and permit office in Surfside. If they can't help you they can probably direct you to t he right city department.
