Hi I am trying to get a feel for some family friendly neighborhoods in Murrells Inlet. Open to both Georgetown and Horry counties. Especially interested in a neighborhood with amenities such as a pool, playground, ball fields etc , home prices under 250K. Can anyone give me a list of subdivisions that might fit this description? Thanks! We have been home/area searching & were zoining in on the Forestbrook area, but would like to make sure we have left no stone unturned as we are hearing that the Waccamaw schools are fantastic and its a nice area to raise a family. Any insight is welcomed. Thanks!

There are 12 or so in the Murrells Inlet area that fit your search criteria. There are more, certainly, in other areas. 8 houses alone in the Prince Creek subdivision with all the amenities you mentioned, and more, except for ball fields. Those are not listed but there are parks nearby with those.

Be glad to send you a few listings if you ever need.

If we truely received the almost 17" of rain in the past couple days the news says we did and if this really was a 1000 year event (although with climate change I have a feeling we won't have to wait another 1000 years), then we made out very well, at least in the western sections of Murrells Inlet that I have been able to check out. Something to consider when looking for an area to live.......

Just wondering how the Prince creek area made out with the storms this week. We are interested in relocating and purchasing a home off of journeys end road, but haven't been able to get any news on the area.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I walk through the Bays section of Prince Creek daily as part of my morning walk. I saw no flooding or other storm related issues.
