My husbands job is relocating him to Little River. We have never been west of Indiana, so this is a new adventure for us! We aren't able to travel out there to find someplace to live, as we have to move in 2 weeks. We would prefer to rent a home/townhouse but are open to an apartment complex. We have a 1 year old daughter.
We don't know if there are "good" parts and "shady" parts of Little River... sounds like it is beautiful everywhere though!
We are looking for the following:

$1300 or less per month
3 bedrooms
2 bathrooms
family friendly neighborhood
need to be within 20 minutes of Little River city center

Can anyone recommend any area's or apartment complexes?

I appreciate it!

I have in-laws in Little River. I am not fond of their location in an industrial area off Highway 17, but it is safe. Your budget of $1300 should be enough to get you a nice house in a family neighborhood. Check the Craiglist listing, but be sure to ask about hazards for a toddler. I suggest not living near water, and look for a fenced yard.

I live in Little River. I'm not sure about the rentals, but the houses are moderately priced, and we live down the road from the police station. Its a quiet town, close to MB, ocean, hwys, shops. We love the area, and feel very safe here. Our realtor is Deb Bengstrom. She is excellent and was a great help to us. Maybe she would know of any rentals.
Best of luck to you.
