My husband has applied for a job in Horry County. The job offer looks very promising. If he receives the job, we will be relocating. I am an RN and was wondering if anyone familiar with the area has any information on hospitals or nursing homes that may be hiring and the pay rate for the area? We will most likely reside in the Conway area. We have 2 boys 15 and 10, so a good school is also a priority. Could anyone suggest an area to look at for house rentals? We will be renting until we can decide on an area to purchase a home.

I thank you for any information you can provide

It wasn't when I posted my suggestion above...in the Charleston forum.

The good mods moved it here.

Enjoy.

Sorry. Usually when something is moved that is noted. Didn't mean to offend you.

We live in the Conway zip code, Carolina Forest school district. My thoughts are that unless you plan to work at Conway Hospital, I highly suggest staying as far away from 501 as possible. I'm an RN at the 'other' hospital and my commute (I work nights) down 501 is horrific. When I was offered the job 2 years ago, we literally had 3 days to find a house to rent. I would never, ever choose this location knowing what I now know.

Good luck on the move!
