We normally rent a beach house on Pawleys Island in the summer. We are planning an adult trip this year the last week of April. Can anyone tell me if most of the restaurants and shops are open then? I realize it will be to cold to be in the water but is the beach usually comfortable to walk on and fish that time of year?
Normally we have kids with us and it is so hot we never want to leave the beach. We are hoping to venture out a bit this trip. Some ideas we had were to visit Brookgreen garden, Huntington State Beach, Front St. in Georgetown (one of our favorite), an afternoon in Charleston, or maybe touring a plantation. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks for the info. Yes, we did know about the fire. Very sad. We are assuming we can still visit the other shops and restaurants on Front Street. I am sure they could use all the business they can get.
