I cant wait to get out of here. 5 months & counting.
I moved from Mount Sinai 6 years ago to NC. I was paying 12,000.00 on a condo! Plus 375.00 for HOA. The stress was killing me. Now I pay 800.00 for a 2000 sqft. Home waterfront on the ICW! I am moving to Murrells inlet soon.It reminds me of LI without the impossible taxes. I would never move back. I visit often and family visits me, best thing I did for my sanity and quality of life! Good luck on your move!

A fellow LIer here. It is snowing today and once again had to take a day off from work. Don't think I worked a full week since winter started!

Curious, where in Murrell did you buy? Are you building new? Are there particular developments you like? Thanks for your input. We plan on visiting for a serious look late spring and moving in a couple of years.

Just thinking of better weather and those low taxes have me excited!!!

Thanks

I'm suppose to close on my house in prince creek this Monday. But due to the ice and snow, it's being pushed off to weds. Dead dog saloon is one of my favorite hangouts. Can't wait to have cocktails there while staring at the bay.

Where (which section) in Prince Creek?

What ice and snow? None (left) here in Murrells Inlet. I plan to be back in shorts and flip-flops by Saturday.....

Tmozer... I'm moving into Willow Bay. I know the ice & snow is gone from Murrells, but the banks headquarters is located near Greenville ( at least I think that's the town) and the banks, town is still closed down. The underwriters need to view it, and send it back to the Murrells Inlet branch.

I walk through the Bays every morning on my exercise walk. A very nice community! I love where we are at (Park West), but if I had to do it all over again I would strongly consider Prince Creek.
