I know there are a lot of areas to avoid in Myrtle Beach. I am going to look at a townhouse on 67th Ave N. Anyone have a general idea of how nice (or not so nice) this section of MB is? Thanks in advance.

That section around Cane Patch is a good area.

It's a good area. More quiet than areas in the south and more family oriented as far as the beach goers. Plenty of shopping in that area too.

It is a fantastic area! The beach on 67th is where I practically grew up. Mayor John Rhodes used to own the house almost across the street on 62nd and Ocean Boulevard.

One Saturday back in the 80s we were all having a beach party on the beach there and one of the banner planes crashed landed on the beach. The pilot got out, kicked the plane, cussed it out, and walked off the beach and left it there.

It brings back really happy middle, high school, and college memories for me!
