An update on our 8-armed friend....today at the causeway there were a couple of folks who verified that the octopus was able to hang on until the tide came in, and he was seen making his exit. He apparently had a rather large group of people watching out for him. Isn't it funny how we tend to instinctively root for the underdog? I mean, really, would any of us ever think that we'd be pulling for an octopus to survive a stranding?
