The only smoke free areas that I am aware of are Surfside Beach and North Myrtle Beach. You can smoke almost anywhere else, even inside of most restaurants, etc.
We have been here house hunting the past few days, and I haven't been in one restaurant where people were smoking? I just assumed they were all smoke free? I saw them speaking about the no smoking in public parks/beach on the local news, but that's the only ban that I know anything about.
