Reading reviews like this on forums such as TripAdvisor is what scared us away from buying in the Caravelle. If they are making improvements then that's great, but we didn't want to take a chance on buying in a place that gets these kinds of reviews, even if the prices are unbelievable. There are just too many other options for people to choose to stay in MB, and word of mouth spreads quickly.
