We are trying to book a reservation with a private owner at Avian Forest. We have stayed there previously but this owner for this year's rental is telling us they are installing a pool at Avian Forest. I can't see anything on the maps that would suggest this is underway and was hoping someone that drives by it regularly could confirm what the owner is telling me.
Did a quick drive-thru today. I'm not very familiar with the property, but there's work going on a small pool area on the right just after turning off Willbrook. It looks like the pool is finished, with a small bath house under construction and needing some landscaping work. From what I could tell, it would be hard to call it a swimming pool. It may be good for a quick dunkin' to cool off, but it's not much larger than a nice inground hot tub. If there's another pool, I missed it. HTH.

We did PD! Thanks for checking this out for us. The pool while adequate is a bit on the small side but that didn't bother us. We also had access to the pool at the River Club but we never did get to it this year. And I finally got to go to the public beach at the south end of Springs Ave this time too! I think we may try to stay at the Litchfield Inn if we come as a couple rather than a family. Indian Summer? maybe!
