Zagreb, what does that second quote have to do with this thread?
My Sherlock sense tells me that when she moves from CA in MTL ,she meet "fellow" American with job she wants and now somehow she find that he/she got no work permit.. ....I CSI ....maybe not true but it sounds good
No it's actually not my fiance. It's someone who is working with him who is not Canadian. Why would it be my fiance if he's already FRENCH Canadian?! Think about it...

If its that important to you to screw up this guys life then just call the local police dept. they'll make sure the guy loses his job, gets criminally prosecuted for being illegal,he'll then get deported and will never be able to return to Canada.
What did he do to incur such wrath?
Hope I'm not inappropriately injecting my American point of view here, but the responses (from those I presume to be mostly from Canadians) are as different as night and day, if this question were to be asked on an American forum.

I was thinking *exactly* the same thing. If this guy were in Arizona there would be a number of vigilante groups volunteering to hunt the guy down and bring him to the authorities in shackles...
When I see things like this, it makes me happy that I decided to (legally) move to Canada for good...
