Hello!

We are buying property in Arroyo Seco, in the mountains. We are planning on getting internet/WiFi set up, however, our cell service won’t work (no towers in range).
We can of course use our phones on WiFi- but, then we are still paying high service prices from the cell company... is there an alternative set up that anyone can recommend?

Thanks in advance!!

You might try talking to other people who live around there about an alternate phone service. Perhaps there is a particular cell Co, that people around there get reception?

I love the Arroyo Seco area. Our family did many camping trips there in the 60's and 70's. Almost every summer we would stay at Millers lodge right where the road in there crosses the river. I stopped in there about 10 years ago and it was sure run down. I was told a German Co bought Millers lodge and was eventually going to fix it up. Not sure how things around there are now?

Why not a VOIP landline?

We have cell phones but don’t use them at home. VOIP landline is cheap.
